Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
