Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, demons, and dark forces increasing in strength within the urban setting.

The Warrior Group Unveiled
Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of characters who will branch out from the main group to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.
The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.
This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.
Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.
A former ally of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.
The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could assist the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The fighter swore a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- Teor is marked for death by the clan.
This means them little choice but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.
Future Episodes
From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Explorers and Schemers parties.
Viewers can look forward to learning which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
